Hospitaller Services provides residential care and support for adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, with each person having an individually tailored package of care and support.
In each service a team of competent, caring and committed staff are on hand 24-hours a day to meet the individual needs of each person living in the home.
Many of our homes are purpose-built and designed; most are bungalows or have lifts to the second floor to offer fully accessible accommodation to people in wheelchairs.
Each person has an individually tailored package of care and support and is encouraged to take an active part in the running of their home. Regular residents’ meetings take place and one-to-one time is spent with the staff to facilitate this. People are supported to enjoy their hobbies, choose their own holidays, outings and to participate in different events. Strong community links are developed to give people the opportunity to play as full a part in the community as they wish.
Whilst there are rooms shared by other residents such as the lounges and kitchens, people’s bedrooms are very much their own and can be decorated and furnished to individual choice.
All of Hospitaller Services residential services are registered with the regulatory body, Care Quality Commission (CQC), and each service works towards a high standard of compliance. In addition we work towards our own Hospitaller Standards whereby people using our services experience practical expressions of our mission in the form of hospitality, compassion, respect, trust and justice - the core values of our Hospitaller service.
