For over 30 years, person centred support has been core to the how Hospitaller Services delivers its care. ... bringing together every aspect of our organisation, putting the interests and needs of the individual at the heart of everything we do.

It is our intention in all we do to offer services which are:

Safe... and will protect people from bullying, harassment, avoidable from harm and potential abuse.

Caring... where people will receive care and support from staff who know and understand their history, likes, preferences, needs, hopes and goals.

Effective... where the needs of people are met consistently by staff who have the right competencies, knowledge, qualifications, skills, experience, attitudes and behaviours.

Responsive... where people receive consistent personal care, treatment and support and they will be involved in identifying their needs, choices, preferences and how they are met.

Well-led... services that have a clear vision and set of values that include honesty, involvement, compassion, dignity, independence, respect, equality and safety which will be understood and consistently put into practice.

These are standards that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) looks for when they inspect services and which we aim to comply with to the highest level and at all times.
